The M&S Partnership: bringing education and business together. The University of Leeds asked Swhype to create an animated infographic film highlighting the unique partnership with Marks & Spencer. The University of Leeds campus is the home of the M&S Company Archive, with 70,000 items in the collection, 38,000 visitors and with 370,000 online visits making this a unique and invaluable resource. Research between the partnership ranges from the role of Generation Y has in the workforce to new ways of extracting antioxidants from the skin of grapes a vital ingredient in the M&S natural skincare range. This is the first film in a suite of films, about autism in adults. Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects a person’s communication, social interaction, interests, behaviour and ability to process everyday sensory information. The films have been produced by the Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS), part of Leeds and York Partnership Foundations Trust (LYPFT) in response to clinicians, carers and service users wanting easily understandable information about autism. The films are introduced by Dr Alison Stansfield, Clinical Lead and Consultant Psychiatrist and involve the insights and expertise of Dr James McGrath, author and senior lecturer at Leeds Beckett University. GPs, health workers, hospital and social care staff and others are working more closely together in Leeds to make services better and simpler for everyone. Read more below... This work includes three main strands, tailored especially to support older people and those living with long-term health conditions. The first is about identifying where someone is at risk of an existing health condition becoming worse over time and finding innovative ways to reduce this risk. The second is about health and social care staff taking a more joined-up approach to providing that support - working closely with people, families and community organisations.
